despite initial apprehension for the gentleman, mostly in regards to neck's ward, he has come to appreciate the gentleman a lot more, particularly following an encounter at the hot springs. the englishman consoled him, to a certain extent, for which neck is extremely grateful.

if the tether didn't forbid such things, neck knows full well that he would tear this polecat limb from limb. mutual hatred. verpa's fault.

despite attempting to remain civil for abeline's sake, neck's relationship with the jotun has deteriorated all over again. he thoroughly distrusts the serpent, and practically loathes him.

neck has a deep-set fear and respect for the demon, and is trying and failing to make amends with him.
